Joseph Johns General This engine was involved in Graniteville train wreck according to a government article. 1/16/2006 12:44:22 PM
Kevin Zettelmeier General Yes it was. 6653 was the lead engine of 192 on 1/6/05. It still sits in Augusta with 6593 with a crushed nose. 1/2/2007 5:26:01 PM
David Nutter General Nice shot 5/23/2013 12:26:34 AM
Mason Soliday General Not anymore, 6593 was scrapped due to a busted frame, and 6653 was never repaired, but was instead rebuilt into an SD60E and renumbered to 6900 and still runs today. 3/13/2022 2:59:14 PM
